City of Dawsonville Public Works Department:   

 

  A person seeking water, sewer and/or garbage service from the City of Dawsonville, shall complete an application 

  at City Hall in Dawsonville, GA.  A deposit shall be required for each water/sewer line.

      Garbage:   Activation / Termination Form

                        ~ Weekly garbage service available. $13.25/month                   

                        ~ One 95 gallon single rolling trash can will be provided

                        ~ Pick-up Monday morning

                        ~ Have the can out by 6:00 a.m. or the night before

 

       Garbage will not be picked-up until the next day should the following holidays fall on a Monday:

Memorial Day       4th of July       Labor Day       Thanksgiving Day       Christmas Day

                            Notice of Mandatory Water Restrictions:

Effective June 15, 2009

City of Dawsonville

 

Non-Drought Water Use Schedule

 

The EPD Director has placed the entire state of Georgia under a non-drought schedule for outdoor water use.

 

Under a non-drought schedule outdoor water use is allowed 3 days a week on assigned days using odd and even-numbered addresses:

* Odd numbered addresses may water on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays

 

* Even numbered addresses may water on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays

Water use may occur at any time of the day on the assigned days, but to be water efficient, landscape watering should not occur between 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

 

The non-drought schedule is included in the Rules for Outdoor Water Use.  These rules can be found at the following web sites or a copy is available at City Hall: www.gaepd.org or www.dawsonville-ga.gov
