January 2021 Employee Spotlight - Beth Tuttle

This month’s Employee Spotlight is on our newest team member,  Customer Service Specialist, Beth Tuttle. Beth fills the position that became vacant when Stacy Harris was promoted to the Planning and Zoning Department. She will be one of the warm, friendly and sincere faces that welcomes folks into City Hall.  She will handle utility customers, a wide range of administrative duties, answering the phone, taking on our Asset Management Program, and several other important duties.

Beth is a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Ready Reserve with training as a Unit Supply Specialist. A Michigan native who immigrated to Georgia in 1991, she resided first in Gwinnett County before moving to Forsyth County where she lived for 15 years. She has served as a youth leader, a Girl Scout Leader, and as a leader in the Forsyth County High School Boy’s Lacrosse booster club.

An entrepreneur, Beth has 12 years of experience in the coffee industry, having owned both a coffee shop and distribution companies. She has traveled to Peru, El Salvador, the Bahamas, and Jamaica. An employee for five years at the Home Depot Company in Dawsonville, she served that organization as the Bookkeeper/Back Office Associate.

She currently owns and operates a 21-acre homestead in White County with her two sisters, where they grow a variety of produce. Along with her husband, Beth is a first-year beekeeper. After placing in the top 10 in the National Black Jar Honey contest with the Georgia Beekeepers  Association, they are planning to expand their apiary from 5 hives to 12.

Beth enjoys spending time with her husband of 31 years, their two grown children, and granddaughter, Rosie. Welcome to our team!
